Tapping for Stress Reduction Course
This audio program teaches how to use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) for stress.
EFT is a brief and highly effective intervention combining elements of exposure and cognitive therapy, and somatic stimulation. It is often referred to as ‘Tapping’ as it uses a two finger tapping process with a cognitive acceptance statement. EFT has been researched in more than 10 countries, by more than 60 investigators, whose results have been published in more than 20 different peer-reviewed journals.
Australian research has found EFT for obesity and food cravings and weight management to be extremely successful and durable over time. Effectiveness has also been established for stress, phobias, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, and pain.
This program is self paced, although we will remind you to stay engaged. We know EFT / Tapping works best if you get into a habit of using it frequently, and apply it to your own specific situation.

This session discusses the research behind social support and how to use tapping to increase your network, the availability of support in your own life and offers 5 extra resources.
This module gives you a wealth of information about how epigenetics can affect the stress response, and your tapping session shows you how to address stress your parents/grandparents may have experienced and how that might be affecting you. You have an extra 5 resources here as well.
It’s all about coping in this session and you may be surprised at the different types that exist. Your tapping session is about your own coping style and how you can change that if needed.

Dr Peta Stapleton has 25 years experience as a registered Clinical & Health Psychologist in Queensland, Australia and is an Associate Professor in Psychology at Bond University. Peta is well known internationally in the area of Clinical EFT and is consulted for podcasts, radio, television and print media for her expert opinion. She has been awarded many honours and leads world-first randomized clinical trials.
